Firecracker-related injuries

Bangalore: A few more fire cracker-related injury cases were reported from hospitals in the city on Tuesday.

In the last three days, there have been close to a 100 cases of firecracker related injuries in the city.

In Minto Ophthalmic Hospital, five persons were attended to for cracker injuries since Monday night, of which a 15-year-old boy had sustained serious injury in the eye. Doctors treating him said that he had a tear inside the eye and had also developed cataract.
