NEW DELHI: The U.S.-based integrated services provider, Nelson, on Monday announced its merger and acquisition plans to expand business in India to cash in on the realty boom while targeting a net turnover of about $10 million in the next couple of years. "There is tremendous potential in the Indian market and we do not see any reason why Nelson India would not be a $10 million company in the next couple of years," Nelson President and CEO, John Ozzie Nelson Jr., told reporters here indicating that they would also consider inorganic growth to expand presence in the domestic market.
Architecture services
According to him, Nelson, which has set up an office in Noida, would commence operations in Bangalore, Hyderabad and Mumbai in the next one-year. The company had recently forayed into the Indian real estate space and would offer services in architecture, interior design, strategies, workplace services, engineering and information services. About their operations, Nelson Director, Global Strategy and Innovation, Amit Ramani, said the company initially would offer services in architecture and design and later, by the first and second quarter of 2007, these services would be extended to all the six lines of its businesses.
