Postal employees federation's protest

Special Correspondent

Thiruvananthapuram: The State committee of the National Federation of Postal Employees (NFPE) has lodged their protest against the Centre's decision to allow 100 post offices in the private sector as part of the move to privatise the service.

State convener of the organisation M. Krishnan warned in a statement here on Wednesday that the employees would go on an indefinite strike if the authorities went ahead with the move.

He also announced the NFPE's decision to organise demonstrations and dharnas before post offices to protest against the Centre's decision.
