Manmohan watches Munnabhai

NEW DELHI: The `Gandhigiri' fever that caught the nation has not left Prime Minister Manmohan Singh untouched. He took time off his busy schedule on Wednesday to enjoy the Sanjay Dutt-starrer Lage Raho Munna Bhai.

Bapu's message

"It captures Bapu's message about the power of truth and humanism," Dr. Singh remarked after watching a special screening of the movie at the Panchavati Hall in his Race Course Road residence.

Some members of the Prime Minister's family and the PMO staff also got an opportunity to watch the three-hour movie which has suddenly brought into limelight Mahatma Gandhi's principles of non-violence and `satyagraha'.

Praise for film

Dr. Singh, who was scheduled to watch the film two weeks ago, had praised the movie during his recent visit to South Africa. — PTI
