Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: The suspended Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLC from Bellary, Janardhana Reddy, has filed two criminal revision petitions in the Karnataka High Court seeking to quash the issue of proceedings by a lower court against him. Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy and Home Minister M.P. Prakash had filed cases in the Sessions Court.

Adjourned

Justice A.C. Kabbin on Wednesday adjourned bail petitions by two alleged Lashkar-e-Taiba activists who have been accused of trying to wage a war against the State.

Appointed

The Government has appointed the State Public Prosecutor S. Dore Raju to represent it in the case in which wildlife enthusiast Ullas Karanth and several others had recently moved the Karnataka High Court.
