Donation camp

Lions Club of Sanjaynagar and APTECH have organised a voluntary blood donation camp on October 27. The camp will be held between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. at APTECH, Bellary Road. For details, call 9448812330.

Free camp

Padmabhushan Dr. M.C. Modi Charitable Eye Hospital is organising a free diabetic eye check-up camp on Sunday at the hospital premises. A free blood sugar test will be performed. The camp will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. For registration, call 23492233.

Results

The results of Hindi and Kannada Lower and Higher examinations of Karnataka Mahila Hindi Seva Samithi held in September 2006 will be announced on October 30 at 11 a.m. at all Hindi Vidyalayas of the State.

Award

The first IETE Corporate Award 2006 instituted by the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers was bagged by the National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL) for performance excellence in electronic instruments and instrumentation. The award was presented on the occasion of the 49th Annual Technical Convention at IETE, New Delhi, held recently.
