Seminar on `better living'

Thiruvananthapuram: Under the aegis of the Science Club, the Health Club and the Department of English of the All Saints College, a two-day seminar on `Better Living: Therapeutical approaches' will begin at the College on Thursday. The seminar will be inaugurated by the former vice chancellor of the University of Kerala B. Ekbal, a press note issued here on Wednesday said. — Staff Reporter

Token strike on November 22

Thiruvananthapuram: University Employees under the banner of the Federation of All Kerala University Employees' Organisations will observe a token strike on November 22 demanding a Government order revising the pay scales of university employees to make them on par with the pay scales of secretariat employees. A press note issued here on Wednesday said the constant directives of the LDF Government to reduce the allowancesof university employees is tantamount to interfering with the autonomous functioning of the universities. — Staff Reporter
