Applications invited for placements abroad

Fitters and welders can apply

CHENNAI: The Overseas Manpower Corporation, a Tamil Nadu Government undertaking, which assists job seekers in securing placements abroad, invites applications from skilled personnel for jobs in multinational companies in Canada and for a petrochemical company in Kuwait.

The petrochemical company requires MTC/NAC fitters and welders on a three-year contract basis. Selected candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs 10,000, free boarding and lodging, medical assistance and one time return fare to India once in two years.

The last date for the receipt of applications is November 3 in case of the Kuwaiti company and November 4 for Canadian firm, according to a release.
