Special Correspondent

CHENNAI: Chennai Corporate Club Private Ltd. said that its properties at Udhagamandalam and Kodaikanal would go on stream in the first week of November. These two would have complete recreational facilities, according to V. Jeyachandran, Chief Executive Officer. The company, he said, had invested close to Rs. 3.50 crore in developing these properties. The company relied on bank funding to part-finance these projects, he added. The CEO also said the company was developing another property in Chennai at Thirumullaivoyal. This project would be implemented through a joint venture.

The six-year-old and Rs. 10-crore company has three clubs and one resort in Chennai. It was also planning to develop clubs in Yercaud, Munnar, Goa and Puducherry, the CEO said. The Club had a membership of 5,000, he added. The Club had tied up with Royal Goan Beach Clubs, which is affiliated to Resorts Condominium International (RCI).
