Vasanth & Co. opts for SAP

CHENNAI: Vasanth & Co, a leading Chennai-based chain store dealing in consumer electronics and home appliances, said it had chosen to implement mySAP ERP 2005 across its 41 showrooms to enhance operations and enter the next phase of its growth plans. Integrated availability of information, optimisation of its supply chain, faster turn around of inventory and visibility of profits were the key reasons that drove Vasanth & Co. to choose SAP, said a release from the company, quoting H. Vasanth Kumar, Chairman and Managing Director, Vasanth group of companies.
