NEW DELHI: Martin Ravina stole the show with eight goals as Cavalry Green pipped Sahgal Stud 8-7 in a Pool `B' match of the Samaira Cup polo tournament at the Army Equestrian Centre, Delhi Cantonment, on Thursday. Dhruvpal Godara (three), Lokendra Singh (three) and Gaurav Sahgal were the marksmen for the loser. In Pool `C', Jindal Steel and Power defeated Navy 7-5, thanks to the goals by Abhimanyu Pathak (three), Simran Shergil (two) and Samir Suhag (two). For Navy, Vishal Singh (three), Lt. Cdr. Akhil Sirohi and Lt. Cdr. A. P. Singh scored the goals. In Pool `A', Majaara defeated ICICI Bank 7 1/2-4. Gerardo Mazzini (four), Satinder Garcha (two) and Rakshit Agnihotri scored for Majaara, which started with half-a-goal handicap advantage. Basheer Ali (three) and Uday Kalaan were successful in finding the target for the loser. In Pool `D', Cavalry Red raced past Remount and Veterinary Corps/Army Service Corps 7 1/2-3. Santiago De Estrada top-scored with five goals, while Capt. Vishal Chauhan chipped in with two. For RVC/ASC, Dr. Tony Singh, Lt. Col. N.S. Khera and Maj. Navjit Sandhu scored a goal each.
