Surin scores six
NEW DELHI: Six goals by Ernes Surin helped Town High School, Sundergarh, defeat SGN Khalsa Senior Secondary School, Sriganganagar, 11-0 after leading 8-0 at half time in a Pool `D' match of the ONGC 24th Nehru sub-junior hockey tournament at the Shivaji Stadium here on Thursday.
Xavier Ekka (two), Ranju Minz (two) and Dilip Toppo (one) were the other scores.
In Pool `B', Army Boys Sports Company, Danapur, beat Moti Lal Nehru School of Sports, Rai, 10-0. Sanjay Herenj, Kuldip Singh and Noel Dodrai scored two goals each, while Jagannath Dodrai, David Dung Dung, Rakesh Ekka and Viswa Thakur found the target once.
Also in Pool `B', Gurjant Singh scored thrice to guide Government High School, Chandigarh, to a 4-0 triumph over Government Boys High School, Jashpur. Bikramjeet Singh scored the other goal.
