Manufacture of spurious drug: four convicted

HYDERABAD: Four persons involved in the manufacture and distribution of the spurious cynocobalamin injection without a valid drug licence were convicted and sentenced to three years' imprisonment.

According to a release from the Drugs Control Administration, Hyderabad, Anjaneylu of Ongole who manufactured the injections was assisted by P.Srinivasa Rao of Ongole and P.Adinarayana.
