Four killed in road accidents

HYDERABAD:
Road accidents left four persons dead and one seriously injured in and around the city on Thursday.
A lorry knocked down a motorcyclist Mohd. Toufiq, 21, near RTA office in Langerhouz around 5.30 p.m. Angry locals attacked the lorry driver and cleaner, broke the vehicle's diesel tank and set it on fire. Police resorted to mild lathicharge to disperse the crowd. The victim was a resident of Nanalnagar.
Motorbike skids
Two persons died when the motorcycle they were travelling on skidded at Eliminedu village in Ibrahimpatnam police station area on the city outskirts in the wee hours of Thursday. The victims were identified as Ch. Jangaiah, 35, and D. Shekhar, 23, of Timmapur village in Ranga Reddy district.
Rams into road divider
In another accident, a private finance office employee P. Naresh, 23, died and his friend Dileep, 25, suffered serious injuries when the motorcycle they were travelling on rammed into a road divider near I.S. Sadan in the wee hours of Thursday
