Young World quiz on November 2

MANGALORE: October 31 is the last date to submit application forms to participate in the regional round of The Hindu Young World quiz to be held here on November 2.

Students from the 10th, 11th and 12th standards (pre-university) can participate. Two students from a school or college can form a team. A maximum of three teams will be admitted from an institute.

Invitations along with entry cards to participate in the regional round have already been sent to most schools and colleges. Schools interested in taking part must send the application forms at the earliest.

A preliminary written contest will be held to select six teams for the finals. The winning team from the region will qualify for the all-India finals to be held in Madurai on November 14. The quiz will be held at the Town Hall here at 2 p.m.
