HYDERABAD: A Division Bench of the High Court comprising Justice B. Prakash Rao and Justice Yethirajulu on Friday declared that the 29-acre prime land at Tirumala belonged to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams and not to the Tallapaka family. The Bench was upholding the claim of the TTD that the `patta' obtained by the Tallapaka family was vitiated by fraud. The TTD has won this case after long legal battle spread over nearly two decades. The Bench in its order declared that the patta issued in favour of Tallapaka family was vitiated by fraud and decreed the suit upholding the title of the TTD over the prime plot of land at Tirumala.
