North Zone in driver's seat
Jamshedpur: An unbeaten 99-run sixth-wicket partnership between Mahesh Rawat (59 not out) and Joginder Sharma (65 not out), a fine 70 by opener Gautam Gambhir and a swashbuckling 74 by Yashpal Singh took North Zone to a comfortable 310 for five off 92 overs in its first innings on the first day of the four-day Duleep Trophy match against Central Zone here on Friday.
