Remanded in custody

MYSORE:
The two Pakistani nationals arrested by the Mysore police after an encounter were remanded in police custody by the local court here.
The two, Fahad alias Needutanni alias Mohammed Koya and Mohammed Ali Hussein alias Asif Khan were remanded in police custody for 14 days by the First Additional Civil Judge and Chief Judicial Magistrate G.S. Sangreshi. During the brief session that lasted just over five minutes, the judge asked the two if they had been harassed by the police before being produced in court. The accused replied "no." A large number of people and advocates had gathered on the court premises.
