Bidar
Staff Correspondent
Bidar: "Attempts by the Congress to malign the Janata Dal (Secular)-BJP Government will not succeed," Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister and BJP leader C.M. Udasi said at a party meeting Bidar on Saturday. Congress leaders were desperate to get back power. They were raising insignificant issues. Its attempts would not succeed, he said. Mr. Udasi said the Opposition was feeling uneasy of the State Government's achievements. "We have announced new programmes in the Budget and implemented them. The Opposition could not tolerate this," he said. Reacting to requests by party workers that the BJP include one of its MLAs from the district into the ministry, he said he would communicate their sentiment to the party leadership.
