HYDERABAD: Andhra Pradesh Mahila Samakhya, the CPI-affiliated women's organisation, has demanded that the Central Government take steps to ensure the passage of the Women's Reservation Bill in the winter session of Parliament. In tune with a nation-wide call given by the party, the samakhya took up a signature campaign on Saturday seeking the support of the people in pressing the Government to concede the demand. The campaign will be followed by a demonstration in front of Parliament on November 17. CPI State secretary K. Narayana launched the campaign on Saturday.
