HYDERABAD:
Telugu Desam Party president N. Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday said that in the name of promoting irrigation projects , developmental activities in all Government departments were taking a backseat.
Addressing sarpanches owing political allegiance to the TDP at the party headquarters here on Saturday, he said Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy was neglecting development activities in other Government departments.
He recalled how Roads and Buildings Minister J. Ramamohan Rao had once said that a holiday had been declared for his department.
On the recent words of praise showered on Dr. Reddy by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on his visit, Mr. Naidu wondered what was `adhbhutham' (wonderful) about the Congress Chief Minister's performance in the State.
