Two projects to be inaugurated in Palakkad

PALAKKAD: Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan has a tight schedule of programmes during his one-day visit to the district on November 3.

Mr. Achuthanandan will inaugurate two major projects in his Malampuzha Assembly constituency. He will lay the foundation stone for the Integrated Textile City in a 300-acre plot in the Kanjikode industrial area. . The Chief Minister will also inaugurate the modernised 300-metric tonne capacity cattle feed factory of Milma at Malampuzha. He will inaugurate the Marutharode Panchayat Service Co-operative Bank at Kuttupatha and Kalpathy branch of Palakkad District Co-operative Bank at Kalpathy. Mr. Achuthanandan will inaugurate the golden jubilee celebrations of the Chandranagar Housing Co-operative Society on that day.
