NEW DELHI: The New York section of the American Urological Association is hosting its 104th annual conference in Delhi for three days from Sunday. The Association, as part of its annual calendar, organises a meeting of eminent doctors outside the US and this is the first time India has been selected to play host.
This meeting will not only showcase the diverse and rich Indian culture but also
The deliberations and discussions will range from common urological disorders including prostate enlargement and cancer of the prostate to diseases afflicting children. Doctors will also discuss the various high-tech developments and future perspectives in the field.
"With this meeting we will be able to develop professional association between India and the US,'' said Professor Ashok K. Hemal of the Department of Urology at the AIIMS here on Saturday.
He said the most important theme of the meeting was "fostering education bridge between India and America" which would go a long way in fostering partnership on teaching, education, research and patients care.
