NALGONDA: Twenty persons were injured when the RTC bus in which they were travelling hit a stationary lorry at Yellareddigudem near Narketpally on Friday night. Narketpally Sub-Inspector V.Swamy said that the Yadagirigutta-bound bus hit the lorry on the Addanki-Narketpally highway. A police team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to the Kamineni Hospital near Narketpally. Heavy rain hampered the rescue operation. The rescue team had to struggle for about an hour to extricate the bus driver, Lingaiah. SP M.M.Bhagwat monitored the rescue operations.
