Repair of road to start soon

KOCHI: The Greater Cochin Development Authority has taken steps to repair the Kaloor-Kadavanthra road.

In a press release here on Saturday, the authority said the State Government had approved the tender for the contractor with the lowest quote, and an order to this effect was received on Saturday.

The authority had invited tenders for tarring the road, estimated at Rs. 7.7 lakh.

The work order had been given to the contractor and he had started supply of material. Tarring would begin once the weather improved.
