Bangalore: A troupe of visually challenged persons, "Ability in Disability," staged a performance at the Press Club of Bangalore here on Saturday to mark the 200th day of the death of Rajkumar. The troupe is part of the IDL Foundation and the function was organised in association with Press Club of Bangalore, Reporters' Guild and Photojournalists' Association. The troupe sung several hits songs from Rajkumar's films, which included `Manava naguveya illa daanava naguveya' from "Bahadur Gandu," `Janarinda nanu mele bande' from "Shabdavedi" and `Naniruvude nimagagi' from "Mayura." Rajkumar's son and actor Raghavendra Rajkumar sang `Adisidata besara moodi' from "Kasturi Nivasa" with the musical troupe. Speaking on the occasion, Parvathamma Rajkumar said she was pleased to see how talented the members of the troupe were. "I knew they were good, but not to this extent. I am very pleased," she said. She also announced a grant of Rs. 50,000 to the IDL Foundation. Mr. Raghavendra Rajkumar said he still had not been able to accept his father's death. "It is only by attending functions such as this that I realise that he is no more," he said.
