LOS ANGELES: About 1,200 persons, including anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan and some movie actors, staged a demonstration on Saturday at the CNN office in Hollywood to call for an end to the war in Iraq and protest the network's coverage of the Bush administration. They called for withdrawal of U.S. troops. The troops were victims of American imperialism, they said, urging the Government to start focusing on the welfare of people in the country. The protesters also said the news network CNN's coverage of the war and the Bush administration was biased. — Xinhua
