NEW DELHI: Senior BJP leader Vijay Goel, whose two-day dharna outside the Municipal Corporation of Delhi headquarters against sealing drive ended on Sunday, took the `Gandhigiri' way of protest when he visited Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit's home to present her flowers seeking relief from sealing for traders.

Accompanied by his party leaders and traders, Mr. Goel gathered at Ms. Dikshit's residence and unsuccessfully tried to present her flowers. Traders were holding a banner with messages stating that Ms. Dikshit will be in peace if she helped traders. They also demanded immediate relief from the Centre and Delhi Government on the sealing issue.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Goel said if the Delhi Government felt that it was helpless and could not provide relief to traders, the entire Cabinet and all the Congress MLAs should resign. He alleged that the Centre and senior Congress leaders, including its head Sonia Gandhi, were befooling traders by making false promises.
