Syndicate Bank Q2 net up 17 p.c.

BANGALORE: The net profit of Syndicate Bank for the second quarter (July-September) rose 17 per cent to

Rs. 205 crore from Rs. 175 crore a year earlier. Total income during the period jumped 43 per cent to Rs. 1,603 crore from Rs. 1,118 crore a year ago. Total deposits of the bank during the second quarter grew by 51 per cent to

Rs. 71,065 crore from Rs. 47,144 crore a year earlier while advances increased by 48 per cent to Rs. 46,168 crore from Rs. 31,149 crore, a bank statement said here on Monday.
