He said the militant was using many names such as Jehangir, Wasem, Afghan, Asif Khan, Zahre and Qasim and was carrying on his activities on the suburbs of Srinagar city and Harwan. As many as 12 cases had been registered in Srinagar district against him. Mr. Sahai said he would be brought to Srinagar as the cases were registered here and many links were likely to unfold, as he has been an accomplice of top militants. He also said that Qasim was involved in the killing of at least 13 civilians, including an Assistant Sub Inspector Abdur Rahim Sofi.
