Isolated heavy rain likely in T.N.

CHENNAI: Yesterday's Cyclonic storm (OGNI) over west central Bay of Bengal crossed Andhra Pradesh coast between Ongole and Bapatla at 1300 hrs IST of 30th October and weakened gradually.

Forecast (valid until Thursday morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at most places over coastal Andhra Pradesh, at many places over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Kerala and Lakshadweep and at a few places over coastal and south interior Karnataka.

Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over north interior Karnataka.

Heavy Rainfall Warning: Isolated heavy to very heavy rain is likely to occur over coastal Andhra Pradesh during next 48 hours.

Isolated heavy rain is also likely to occur over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Kerala and Lakshadweep during the same period.
