THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Cabinet sub-committee on Mullaperiyar has observed that Tamil Nadu is trying to conceal the serious threat faced by Kerala from the Mullaperiyar dam. The committee, which held discussions with officials here on Tuesday, said Tamil Nadu was acting without the consideration of the fact that the 110-year-old dam was situated in a seismically active zone. The meeting resolved to take all steps to ensure the safety of the life and property of the people of the State. The Cabinet sub-committee comprises Minister for Water Resources N.K. Premachandran, Minister for Home Kodiyeri Balakrishnan and Revenue Minister K.P. Rajendran.
