Vijayakrishnan excels

Puducherry: R. Vijayakrishnan of Petit Seminaire HSS bagged a double, winning the junior and sub-junior boys' titles, in the three-day UCO Bank TT Club 20th State-ranking table tennis tournament, which concluded here on Sunday.

A. John Kumar, Vice-Chairman, Pondicherry Municipal Corporation, distributed the prizes.

E. Lakshmi Prabha of Nirmala Girls HSS and K. Sharmila of Government Girls HSS (Sholavandan) won two golds each in the girls' U-17 and U-14 categories respectively in the Madurai divisional inter-educational district schools fencing competitions at Madurai recently.
