B.Ed. college to celebrate State's golden jubilee

KOTTAKKAL: Farook B.Ed. College here will celebrate the golden jubilee of the State formation with a variety of programmes. Abdurahman Randathani, MLA, will inaugurate the festivities.

A quiz on `Kerala in the past' will be conducted on Wednesday involving the 62 training colleges under Calicut University.

Mappilapattu artiste V.M. Kutty will lead a musical programme titled `Ishal Chandam' on Thursday morning. A musical-dance programme called `Keraleeyam' chronicling the cultural history of Kerala will be staged in the afternoon. Art forms of Kerala will be presented on Friday. Kathakali artiste Kottakkal Murali will inaugurate the programme. On Saturday, a `cultural trip in search of the myths of Kerala' will be taken out.
