NEW DELHI: Karan Arora scored a hat-trick as Modern School, Barakhamba Road, blanked SD Memorial School, Faridabad, 6-0 in the under-15 semifinal of the Modernites inter-school hockey tournament here on Tuesday. Tanmayesh Kohli scored two goals, while Prithvi Raj Saigal struck one as Modern School made it to the final where it will take on SS Mota Singh Model School, Paschim Vihar. SS Mota Singh Model School defeated Bhatnagar International School 2-1 through goals from Sukhpreet and Jaspreet. Arunima Jain reduced the margin. In the under-18 category, Modern School scored a 1-0 victory against Bal Bharti School, Pitampura, with Harshwardhan scoring in the 45th minute.
