Students' paintings to go on display at exhibition

CREATIVE EFFORT: One of the paintings to be displayed at the exhibition at Kasthuri Sreenivasan Trust Art Gallery.

Coimbatore: In the `Growing Young Artists' series, Kasthuri Sreenivasan Trust will present the seventh painting exhibition from November 2 to 7 at Kasthuri Sreenivasan Art Gallery, Avanashi Road.

The exhibition will bring together works of a group of 28 students from the Government College of Fine Arts, Kumbakonam. Twenty-six students are from the department of painting and two from visual communication.

On-the-spot portrait sketching and painting demonstration will be held at the venue.

All the paintings are for sale. The exhibition will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. For details, call 2574110.
