CHANDIGARH: The Haryana Government on Tuesday posted Ranjiv Singh Dalal, Director of the State Vigilance Bureau, as the Director-General of Police with immediate effect on the retirement of the present DGP, Nirmal Singh. A recipient of the President's Police Medal for Gallantry and Police Medal for Meritorious Service, Mr. Dalal has also served the Border Security Force as Inspector-General. Apart from serving the State Police Department in various capacities, he has also worked as Professor of Political Theory and Constitutional Law at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration.
