E-governance gets a go with `Prajahita'

Nalgonda administration starts pilot project

Prajahita is a website for rural grievances

Kiosks are set up at 12 mandals initially

NALGONDA: In a bid to take e-governance to the doorsteps of rural people, the Nalgonda district administration is all set to launch a website `Prajahita' on Wednesday.

Home Minister K. Jana Reddy will formally launch the pilot project to mark the Andhra Pradesh Formation Day, Collector Kaveti Vijayanand told reporters here on Tuesday.

A Telugu version of `Lokvani' of Sitapur in Uttar Pradesh, `Prajahita' would come in handy for the people who want to file their complaints and applications to officials without having to visit the Collectorate.
