Holiday for meat shops

Animal slaughter and sale of meat and fish is prohibited on November 1 in view of the AP Formation Day celebrations. Stringent action will be taken if anybody is found violating this, says chief medical and health officer.

Diabetes campaign

The International Association of Lions Clubs will organise a diabetes awareness campaign for a month. It will be inaugurated on the AP Formation Day at SRR and CVR Government College. The Lions Clubs will organise blood test camps and distribution of medicines to diabetics during the month.

Training programme

Jan Sikshan Sansthan will organise training programmes for unemployed youth from November 6. For details, contact 2470420.
