KOCHI : Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit has condemned the alleged attempts made by a section of the teachers to `defame' the Vice-Chancellor of the University. In a press release here on Tuesday, the university authorities urged the teachers not to disrupt the academic atmosphere on the campus. The Left organisations had been trying to portray Vice-Chancellor K.S. Radhakrishnan in bad light from March 2005. They also raised allegations of corruption against the Vice-Chancellor. The release said the organisations tried to question the secular credentials of the Vice-Chancellor. The university authorities said the Left organisations on the campus also staged several protests and distributed brochures against the Vice-Chancellor. .
