NEW DELHI: Senior Congress MLA and former Delhi Assembly Speaker Subhash Chopra on Tuesday demanded that all categories of professionals be treated at par while permitting use of basements or activity in the Capital's residential areas. He also sought doing away with the categorisation of colonies for the purpose of mixed land and commercial use. Mr. Chopra said the decision to categorise the colonies into various classes should be reviewed as this had led to discrimination. "There should not be any kind of discrimination for people living in the same city as this would lead to uneven growth of residential and commercial space."
