Six more die of dengue

NEW DELHI:
Six more dengue patients have died in the Capital during the past 24 hours, raising the toll due to the dreaded viral disease to 61. While two patients each died at the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences and St. Stephen's Hospital, one each succumbed at Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Narayan and Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospitals.
At AIIMS, 44-year-old Pramod Kumar, a resident of Madanpur Khadar village in South Delhi, and Maya (60) of Bahadurgarh in Haryana breathed their last on Tuesday, while 24 new dengue patients were admitted to the Institute during the past 24 hours.
In other hospitals across the city, 34 new patients were admitted.
