Contests for children

The Indian Institute of World Culture will conduct "Devaranama," painting and "Bhavageeta" competitions on November 12, 19 and 26 respectively for children under different age categories in connection with Children's Cultural Festival. Yoga course

Conference

The International Academy for Creative Teaching (IACT) will organise a two-day international conference on the "electoral systems and electoral politics" on November 2 and 3 at Hotel Ramanashree Brunton. The conference is being organised under the aegis of the comparative study of electoral systems research group and in collaboration with Bangalore University.

Evening programme

The M.S. Ramaiah School of Advanced Studies will organise part time proficiency evening programme for engineering students, faculties and professionals on "automotive control systems, finite element analysis, computer-aided product design, Kaizen and team building, embedded processor architecture, bio-medical instrumentation and digital image processing" at its premises from November 13.

Extended

The last date for admission to the Bangalore University Distance Education Programme in the following courses — B.A., B. Com., BBM, M.A., M.Com., M.Sc., PG diploma and diploma and certificate has been extended to November 30 without fine. Payment of fees for supplementary examinations of B.A., B.Com and BBM has been extended up to November 4.

Two-day course
