This Day That Age
In Trivandrum, a colourful ceremony was held to mark the formal inauguration of the new State of Kerala by Mr. P.S. Rau, Acting Governor. Several thousands of men and women, young and old, watched the function held on the lawns of the Government Secretariat. The President by a proclamation has assumed to himself all the functions of the State.
