Hero Honda reports record sales in October

CHENNAI: Hero Honda Motors has reported record sales of 3.63 lakh units during October 2006. This is in line with the company's strategy for aggressive top line growth and increased market share, which is being implemented through the launch of eight new models in 2006, backed by aggressive marketing and communication campaigns. The company has registered a growth of more than 20 per cent over the corresponding month in the previous year, when it sold 3.02 lakh units, says a release.
