PANAJI: The Goa Government on Wednesday decided to file a contempt petition in the Supreme Court against the Karnataka Government for going ahead with the Kalasa-Banduri nala work. Briefing presspersons after a specially convened meeting of the State Cabinet on Wednesday, Chief Minister Pratapsinh Rane contended that Karnataka had gone against the undertaking given by its Advocate-General to the apex court that he would request the Government to stop the works. Goa has filed a petition in the Supreme Court against the project. Producing some newspaper reports and pictures at the press meet, he said, "from the newspaper reports and pictures it appears that they have started works there."
