Nagercoil : Garlanding the statue of Marshal Nesamony and illuminating government buildings, including the Collectorate, marked the golden jubilee celebration in connection with the anniversary of annexation of Kanyakumari with Tamil Nadu on Wednesday. The Tourism Minister, Suresh Rajan, presented shawls to those who participated in the struggle for annex at a government function organised by the Information and Public Relation Department at Sethu Lekshmi Bai Higher Secondary School for Boys in Nagercoil.
