Direct tax collections up 38 p.c.

NEW DELHI: With the buoyancy in income-tax collections coupled with excellent corporate results during the second quarter this fiscal, direct tax collections have soared to Rs. 91,374 crore till October 28 as compared to Rs. 66,069 crore during the same period in the previous year.
