Rajasthan Pavilion to showcase rapid strides

Special Correspondent

JAIPUR: The Rajasthan Pavilion at the India International Trade Fair (IITF) to be held in New Delhi from November 14 to 27 will display a tableau of the historic Junagarh Palace of Bikaner and showcase rapid strides made by the desert State in tourism, agriculture, cooperative, mining and power sectors.

State Industries Commissioner Usha Sharma reviewed the preparations at the pavilion on Tuesday and noted that the entrance would be decorated with the paintings of traditional Pichchwai art.

A tableau of the royal court of Bikaner's Anupgarh Palace will also be an attraction for visitors to the pavilion.

Pavilion Director Ravi Agrawal said other models would depict the progress made by industrial and tourism units.

In the theme area of the pavilion, Langa and Manganiar artistes of the State will make scintillating performances.
