HC compulsorily retires fast track court judge

CHENNAI: A Fast Track Court (FTC) Judge has been compulsorily retired from service "in public interest" by the Madras High Court.

A notification issued by Registrar-General S. Palanivelu said the Additional District Judge of FTC-III at Dharapuram, G. Rahamathullah, was relieved from the Tamil Nadu State Judicial Service with effect from October 12, when a Government Order had been issued to that effect.

A cheque for a sum of Rs.1.1 lakh, being three months pay and allowances in lieu of the three-month notice period, were also sent to Mr. Rahamathullah.
